RAM inaugurates its new direct Casablanca-Toronto line

Royal Air Maroc inaugurated, this Sunday, the direct regular line connecting Casablanca to Toronto. The first flight took off from Mohammed V airport this Sunday, December 8 at 4:45 p.m. carrying 204 passengers.

As for the first flight from Toronto, it has a load factor of nearly 275, for a total of nearly 480 passengers on the first two inaugural flights.

This new air route is scheduled for three weekly flights every Wednesday, Friday and Sunday, aboard Boeing 787 Dreamliner aircraft.

The flights will be scheduled to depart Casablanca at 4:45 p.m. (local time) for an arrival in Toronto at 7:25 p.m. (local time). The return flights will leave Toronto at 9:30 p.m. (local time) for a landing in Casablanca at 10:50 a.m. (D+1).

The new Casablanca-Toronto line meets a long-awaited need for Moroccans living in Canada and is in addition to the historic Casablanca-Montreal line, operational since 1975. It also strengthens Royal Air Maroc’s Americas network, which currently has direct flights connecting its Casablanca Hub to New York, Washington, Miami and Sao Paulo, which was reestablished on December 7.

This new service is part of the Company’s commitments under the Development Plan signed with the government in July 2023 and plays a major role in promoting tourism as a destination in Morocco and strengthening economic cooperation between the two countries.
