Morocco affirms its steadfast stand on the current situation in Syria

Morocco has closed its Embassy in Damascus and asked for the shut-down of the Syrian ambassador in Rabat at the end of 2012 in conformity of the Moroccan policy, according to the Minister. “Morocco was for non-interference in the internal affairs of Syria, as much as today, it is for its stability, its unity and for the aspirations for progress of the Syrian people,” added Nasser Bourita.
