FIFA Ranking: Morocco ends the year ranked 14th in the world

Morocco ends the year 2024 ranked 14th in the world in the ranking of the International Football Federation (FIFA), published Thursday, unchanged from November. 

The Atlas Lions remain in first place in Africa with 1688.18 points, ahead of Senegal, which still occupies 17th place, with 1637.25 points.  

The national football team also retains first place on the Arab scale. Egypt occupies second position (33rd in the world) with 1513.48 points. 

On a global scale, few changes are to be reported in the latest World Ranking of the year. Argentina still remains in the lead, followed by France and Spain.

The team that played the most matches in 2024 (21), Angola (85th) will be able to boast of having made the best progress over the past year, climbing 32 places compared to 2023.
