Ayoub El Kaabi crowned best foreign player in Greece

  

Ayoub El Kaabi was named the best foreign player in the Greek league at the Professional Footballers Association of Greece Awards ceremony, “PSAPP 2024”, held in Athens. 

After an exceptional season with Olympiakos where he is the top scorer, Ayoub El Kaabi was rewarded for his high-flying performances. 

Receiving his award, El Kaabi said: “It is a great honour for me to win this trophy. I take this opportunity to thank my family, especially my wife, my team, the coach, the technical and medical staff, as well as the entire Olympiakos family.” 

“My success is the result of teamwork. I always work hard to score, but the credit also goes to my teammates and the coach. I hope we will continue on this path this season,” he added. 

El Kaabi had an exceptional season last year, both in Greece and in Europe, leading Olympiakos to their greatest historical success: victory in the Europa Conference League, the first European title in the history of Greek football at club level.  

Last season, El Kaabi made 50 appearances for Olympiakos in all competitions, scoring 33 goals and providing three assists.
